Hi, I’m Amy (Aims) Walters—a clinical supervisor and coach with a knack for turning 'Am I doing this right?' into 'I’ve got this!'
Supervision with me is a down-to-earth, shame-free space where we solve problems, tackle challenges, and find the humor (because let’s be honest, we all need a laugh sometimes).
I’m here to help you build confidence, work through tricky client dynamics, and stay true to yourself in your practice—without burning out. Together, we’ll work collaboratively, always as equals, to keep your work aligned, sustainable, and something you love showing up for every day.
Whether you’re stuck, second-guessing yourself, or just need a space to reflect, I’ve got your back. Let’s make supervision the most empowering part of your week!
I have experienced all kinds of supervision over my 15-year counselling and coaching career. I know how important and valuable a great relationship with your supervisor can be, but I also know how detrimental a bad one can be.
In the past, I've left supervision feeling rejected, judged, patronised and unsupported. It's why when I became a supervisor I wanted to make sure no one left my supervision feeling that way, and that my supervisees look forward to our sessions.
I specialise in supporting neurodivergent professionals and people who work with neurodivergent clients. I also specialise in working with coaches and counsellors who work in creative and spiritual ways.
I am a coach and counsellor just like you. I am passionate about raising the standard of coaching and counselling and one of the ways I get to do that is through my supervision sessions.
As people working in the privileged position of helpers, guides and mentors, we have a responsibility to make sure our work is the best it can possibly be. That it's safe, ethical and useful.
I am down to earth, direct, challenging in a gentle and supportive way, creative, fun and occasionally sweary. All of my experience, care, compassion and support is available to you in our sessions and outside of sessions via email and voice note exchange.
You bring unique strengths to your coaching or counselling practice, but the world doesn’t always make it easy to thrive as a professional. Let’s create a supportive supervision space where you can reflect, grow, and fully embrace your authentic self.
You thrive on fresh ideas and innovative approaches, but finding a supervisor who understands your creative coaching or counselling style can be tough. Together, we’ll untangle the challenges and keep your creativity aligned with your professional goals through tailored creative supervision.
You help your coaching or counselling clients connect deeply with themselves, but who supports you in navigating your own professional journey? Through spiritual supervision, I’ll provide a safe, reflective space to ground your practice, address challenges, and integrate a meaningful spiritual element into our work together.
Even experienced coaching and counselling professionals need a space to pause, reflect, and stay aligned with their values. Supervision with me provides a fresh perspective and tailored support to keep you energised and growing in your practice. Drawing on my years of experience, I’m here to support you in navigating yours
Starting out in coaching or counselling can feel exciting—but also overwhelming as you navigate new challenges and find your footing. Together, we’ll build your confidence, tackle the tricky moments, and establish a strong, sustainable foundation for your practice. Supervision provides a supportive space to reflect, grow, and feel empowered as you embark on this rewarding journey
The only way to know if I might be the right supervisor for you is to have a call. I offer a free consultation so you can see if my approach might be good for you. Ahead of that call I'll send you a short questionnaire to go through so we can make the best use of our time together and we can see if we are aligned in all the exciting ways.
